We will provide a comprehensive report of our findings following the home inspection. The report will detail our professional opinion, findings, and recommendations from the inspection. Golden Key Property Inspections guarantees timely report delivery.

3. Appointment and Payment

3.1. Scheduling

To schedule a home inspection, provide accurate property information and choose a convenient date and time. If possible, we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

3.2. Payment

Payment for home inspection services is due at the time of the inspection unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. We accept various forms of payment as outlined on our website or as discussed with our support staff.

3.3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Please provide a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an inspection. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee. Golden Key Property Inspections reserves the right to cancel or reschedule inspections due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather or other conditions that may compromise safety or the inspection process.

4. Client Obligations

4.1. Property Access and Cooperation

You agree to provide Golden Key Property Inspections with unrestricted access to the property and to cooperate as needed throughout the inspection. You acknowledge that failure to allow access may limit the scope and accuracy of the inspection.

4.2. Disclosures

You are responsible for disclosing any known defects, issues, or previous repairs to Golden Key Property Inspections before the inspection. We disclaim responsibility for issues not previously disclosed.

4.3. Client Presence

While it is not mandatory, we encourage you to attend the inspection. This allows you to better understand the inspection process and ask any questions directly.

4.4. Payment

You agree to pay the agreed-upon fees for our services as outlined in our pricing agreement. Payment is due upon completion of the inspection unless otherwise specified in writing.

4.5. Reliance on Inspection

You acknowledge that our inspection report is an evaluation of the property’s condition at the time of inspection. We do not guarantee or warrant the future condition or performance of any component or system.

5. Limitations and Exclusions

5.1. Non-Invasive Inspection

Our inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the property. It does not include destructive testing or dismantling of components. We do not move personal belongings or furniture, nor do we inspect inaccessible areas such as inside walls, floors, or ceilings.

5.2. Excluded Systems and Components

Our inspection is limited to accessible and visible components of the property. Certain systems, such as septic systems, wells, swimming pools, or specialized equipment, may be excluded unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

5.3. Professional Opinions

Our inspection and report are based on professional opinions and observations at the time of the inspection. We cannot predict future conditions or guarantee the long-term performance of any system or component.

5.4. Reporting Limitations

The inspection report will identify observed defects and issues that, in our professional opinion, require attention. However, it may not identify all potential defects and should not be considered a warranty or guarantee of the property’s condition.

5.5. Report Delivery

Golden Key Property Inspections guarantees prompt delivery of inspection reports, usually within the specified time frame. Reports will be provided in writing or electronically, as agreed upon between Golden Key Property Inspections and the client.

6. Liability and Indemnification

6.1. Liability Limitation

While we strive to provide accurate and reliable inspection services, we cannot guarantee that no errors or omissions will occur. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the inspection. We disclaim all liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the inspection or the use of the inspection report.

6.2. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, breach of these Terms of Service, or infringement of any third-party rights.
